Responsibilities will lie in both the project and strategic purchasing areas. Purchasing scope covers all local components & services, as well as other supplies (in coordination with JUWI HQ in Germany). Overall personal responsibility for co‑ordination and monitoring of all procurement‑related activities (including logistics and post sales related activities) within the project team.You can look forward to the following tasks:Ensure cost‑quality optimized goods and services are purchased for our projects, on suitable terms for delivery, cost, payments and quality to meet project timescales and milestonesSeek, identify and engage appropriate suppliers for project‑related goods and servicesLead the negotiation of contract terms and pricing with both internal and external stakeholders; full responsibility of manage and monitoring compliance of delivery against contracts; enforcement of claims to suppliers in case of deviations e.g. penaltiesSupport on claim management and related post‑sales activitiesClarification of market conditions relating to inter alia local content, imports, exports, credit limits, credit protection frameworkMonitoring and reporting of political conditions affecting the renewables industry in the EMEA regionCarry out and support supplier qualification based on existing processes with focus on local based suppliers / subcontractorsEstablish and maintain long‑term local supplier and subcontractor relationshipCreate and maintain standard and / or framework agreements where needed with local suppliers / subcontractorsSupport the development and implementation of purchasing strategy for local projects, based on EMEA and global purchasing strategy, in coordination with Head of Project Supply Chain in Germany and with focus on the local suppliers / subcontractors’ requirementsWork in conjunction with the JUWI HQ purchasing organization to utilize global supplier frameworksYour energy is requiredYou impress us with these qualifications;5 years’ experience in international procurement and supply chain management2-year experience in the solar EPC market for photovoltaic utility scale projects in Italy.In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing international contracts, invoicing, and negotiation termsDegree in (Industrial) Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or in similar disciplineSkilled negotiator with ability to foster solid relationship to internal and external stakeholdersHighly organized and detail‑oriented with analytical and problem‑solving skillsThe job holder may be required to travel to project sites from time to timeDesirableExperience as quantity surveyor, ideally in the renewable energy sector.Full professional proficiency in Italian and English (written and spoken).Knowledge of German is considered an asset.Multi‑tasking and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasksExcellent knowledge of MS Office.Your energy booster at JUWIAt JUWI, an inspiring working environment awaits you.
