The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Turin, Italy.AccountabilitiesWith reference to activities on high complexity projects/bids or on more medium/small complexity international projects/bids:Ensure the issuing of an estimation of the overall external costs on high complexity bids.Ensure external cost planning and forecasting (materials, services, packages, subcontractors) during project execution in collaboration with the cost controlling department.Ensure submission of all project supply chain inputs required for the Integrated Project Plan.Distribute planning and logistics documents (Logistic Plan, MPS, Inventory Report, etc.) to project teams.Coordinate all planning and logistics activities among different legal entities to ensure material delivery according to the project plan.Manage the launch of production based on project requirements (Transfer orders, Purchase orders, etc.) aligned with the schedule.Issue purchase requests for materials, services, packages, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.Prepare supplier logistics and supply planning documentation in line with contractual requirements.Monitor and report on supplier performance regarding production, FAT, lead time, shipment, and warehouse management.Identify and implement mitigation actions for potential supplier performance issues.Create SES (Service Entry Sheet) and Work Progress Certificates based on milestones, to authorize invoicing.For international projects involving multiple legal entities and complex packages:Ensure timely delivery of materials in accordance with schedules and budgets.Optimize synergies among projects to improve delivery efficiency.Continuously improve supply chain planning processes, focusing on cross-functional activities.Finalize and submit external cost estimations for make and buy activities.Performance CriteriaCET form completed and issued per bid schedule.Material and service delivery aligned with project schedule.Mitigation actions for delivery delays identified and implemented.External costs tracked against budget and forecast.Regular updates on external costs and inventory figures.Required Skills/KnowledgeTechnical Bachelor's degree or equivalent.5-7 years of experience in supply chain management.Knowledge of contracts, project management, supplier management, procurement, vendor rating, reporting, risk management, documentation, MPS-MRP, cost control, logistics, and company processes.Fluent in Italian and English.Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
