Ali Professional, on behalf of a long‑established client in the bicycle industry (a manufacturer of bicycles and technical components) is searching a candidate for the position of Supply Chain & Buyer.
Key Responsibilities

Forecast demand and plan inventory levels using MRP to balance cost and service objectives.
Oversee procurement and sourcing activities, ensuring timely and cost‑effective acquisition of materials and services.
Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance.
Manage product data in SAP.
Implement and maintain ERP or supply chain management systems.
Collaborate with production, sales, and finance teams to align supply chain plans with business goals.
Identify risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, lead time, inventory turnover, and production output.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2‑3+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or planning.
Industry experience in cycling, automotive or other industrial buying/planning is a plus.
Proficiency with ERP systems and supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite); SAP B1 experience is a plus.
Ability to implement and apply MRP parameters, safety stocks and supply chain methodologies.
Use and manage of SQL query and strong Excel skills required.
Ability to forecast and statistically process historical data.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
Experience in import procedures is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and leadership skills. Able to work cross‑functionally, manage teams.
In‑depth understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and cost optimization.
Certification such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CPSM is a plus.
Strategic and operational planning.
