Join to apply for the Strategic Projects Lead role at Generali
Within the Climate Technical Excellence unit of the Group Climate Hub, we are looking for a highly motivated professional to act as a strategic partner across Business Units. The role will directly support the Head of Climate Technical Excellence in driving ad‑hoc strategic initiatives, coordinating cross‑functional activities, and ensuring alignment with senior stakeholders across the Group.
The job holder can be based both in Milan or Trieste.
Responsibilities
Managing and coordinating special strategic projects with Business Units, from scoping to execution, ensuring timely delivery and high‑quality outcomes
Supporting the liaison between the Climate Hub and senior BU stakeholders, preparing key leadership meetings and follow‑up actions
Providing transversal oversight across the unit, ensuring synergies and knowledge‑sharing among different workstreams (pricing, modelling, loss prevention, risk accumulation)
Identifying emerging priorities and ad‑hoc support requests from BUs, translating them into actionable initiatives for the unit
Preparing strategic reports, executive presentations, and consolidated updates for top management
Contributing to the overall development of the Climate Hub, ensuring consistency in processes, tools, and communication across the Group.
Requirements
4+ years of experience in insurance, consulting, or strategic project management roles
Strong project management skills, with proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
Excellent communication and executive presentation skills, with proven experience in senior stakeholder engagement
Ability to synthesize complex technical content into clear, business‑oriented outputs
Strong interest in the insurance business (prior technical experience is not required)
Proactive, structured, and collaborative mindset with strong problem‑solving orientation
