STEM IT - Project Quality ManagerWe are seeking a Project Quality Manager who will report to the Project Quality and HSE Director of the Business Unit Projects (Powerlink, part of Prysmian Group). The position is based at our headquarters in Milan, Italy. The main responsibilities include planning and implementing quality activities within projects, coordinating and supervising Quality Assurance and Control activities, in accordance with project complexity, scope (including design, manufacturing, and installation), company methods, contractual requirements, and relevant standards and regulations.Key responsibilities:Support the Project Manager in quality-related client communications and contractual compliance.Coordinate the development of Project Quality Plans, Quality Control Plans, and Procedures, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations involving all stakeholders.Collaborate with manufacturing plants to monitor product quality and customer relations.Assess and review the quality plans of suppliers and subcontractors during tendering and execution phases.Organize and conduct quality training for project teams and stakeholders.Perform quality audits on processes, products, suppliers, and subcontractors.Manage client quality audits, non-conformities, and complaints, ensuring effective resolution.Promote continuous improvement, lessons learned, and best practices.Assist in preparing project quality reports and data analysis, including performance indicators and non-conformities.Ensure contract review and project close-out are completed according to contractual requirements.Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with the company’s Quality & HSE functions for reporting, tendering, and quality management activities.Minimum requirements:Extensive experience in Quality Management, preferably within EPCI environments, including manufacturing, land-based activities, or vessel operations.Master's degree in Engineering.Strong knowledge of ISO 9000 standards; auditing experience required. Lead auditor qualification is a plus. Familiarity with problem-solving, IEC standards, PMI, risk management, Lean Six Sigma (certification a plus).Leadership skills and ability to work well in teams.People management, influencing, and organizational skills. Analytical and problem-solving abilities.High proficiency in PC use.Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are advantageous.Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.Prysmian is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
