KWS Italia S.p.A. is seeking a Station Manager for our breeding station in Monselice. This strategic role offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team and actively contribute to developing innovative solutions for future agricultural challenges.
Key Responsibilities

Overall management of activities at Monselice and Campiglia stations
Coordination and supervision of assigned projects and activities
Promote team efficiency through cooperative leadership
Timely and high-quality implementation of tasks within budget
Focus on technical solutions for challenges like climate change, mechanization, digitalization
Talent development within the team
Manage interfaces with internal and external stakeholders

Operational Tasks

Planning station activities
Support budget planning, investments, and staffing
Coordinate with other Station Managers
Supervise Team Leaders
Prepare and submit documentation to agricultural authorities
Manage farmer contracts and administrative processes
Create and update work instructions and protocols
Technical and disciplinary team supervision
Organize annual ESDs and training activities
Ensure compliance with work and safety regulations
Represent the station externally and in seminars

Required Skills

University degree in Agronomy, Plant Breeding or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional and leadership experience
Strong understanding of station activities and biotic/abiotic parameters
Experience in R&D-driven companies with divisional structures
Fluent in Italian and English
Advanced knowledge in plant breeding, field trials, and technologies
Empathic leadership, integration skills, and change management
Analytical mindset, solution-oriented, autonomous yet collaborative
