What you will do
You will report to the Engineering Manager / Tech lead
You will support engineering managers and be a technical leader in your area, influencing technical decisions and guiding other engineers in the team
You will build performance-critical bleeding edge technology within the Sysdig edge components and our cloud services
You will architect and develop new real-time security detection and response features for Sysdig's products
You will become a contributor and a maintainer of Falco and other Open Source projects maintained by Sysdig
You will work together with a diverse set of partners including Sysdig's teams for threat research, quality, product management, and our closest customers
What you will bring with you
Experience with the following languages: C, C++, Golang
Knowledge of system and network security, and Linux internals (kernel, eBPF)
Experience with Kubernetes and building scalable distributed systems
Exposure to performance programming, memory safety, or data processing
What we look for
8+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer
Ability to manage priorities and apply analytical insight
Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch
Project ownership
Experience as a technical leader
English fluency
