You may engage in diverse initiatives or be part of a virtual international project team gaining cross-cultural experience.This position is for a (Senior) Project Manager/Lead (Delivery) in our Respiratory Diseases Team.A day in the lifeThe Project Lead is accountable for the overall delivery of the project (quality, time, cost) on behalf of the organization. Establishes and communicates customer expectations to the project team with minimal direction. Ensures escalation pathways are adhered to internally and externally. Leads the cross-functional project team to meet or exceed deliverables. Manages projects of increasing complexity (e.g., multi-service, multi-region/country, therapeutic complexity, financial scope).Serves as the primary contact and lead between the sponsor and the organization at the project level.On projects with larger scope, ensures clear delineation of responsibilities and communication pathways for secondary project leads (e.g., lead in a region, lead for specific vendors or subset of delivery).Drives and owns the overall delivery of the cross-functional project (time, cost, quality).Ensures financial stewardship at the project level by understanding the contract, aligning resources to budget, managing Out of Scope activity, driving the Con Mod process/negotiations and executing the team to timelines.Establishes, communicates and manages customer expectations to achieve optimal delivery.Drives Risk Identification and Issue Resolution at the project level (RBQM/RESOLVE).Ensures project team compliance with organization policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory and project-specific requirements.Keys to SuccessEducationBachelor\'s degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualificationExperience8+ years of related experience (typical)5+ years of management responsibilityProven leadership skillsKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesComprehensive therapeutic area knowledge, clinical development guidelines and regulatory directives.Strong cross-functional project management skills (Time, Quality, Cost).Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teams.Technical proficiency with systems such as CTMS, Preclarus, Clarity and standard MS Office tools.Ability to prioritize workload in a dynamic environment.Process improvement and strategic development relevant to clinical trials and project management.Ability to coach, mentor and lead global/cross-functional teams with cultural awareness.Strong financial competence including budgeting, forecasting and resource management.Customer service, consultation and relationship-building skills.Negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to drive results.Judgment, decision-making and problem-solving abilities; strategic thinking for complex/ambiguous situations.Proactive, solutions-oriented with risk identification and management.May require travel.
