OverviewThe Procurement Officer is responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective supply of goods and materials required for production and operations. This role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating with internal teams to meet business needs while maintaining quality standards and optimizing costs.ResponsibilitiesProcurement and supplier management: Manage sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of raw materials, packaging, and services. Develop and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery performance. Monitor supplier performance, contracts, and compliance with food safety and sustainability standards.Operational excellence and reporting: Drive cost optimization initiatives and identify opportunities for efficiency gains. Monitor KPIs related to procurement (cost savings, supplier performance). Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability goals.Sustainability and continuous improvement: Drive initiatives to reduce environmental impact across procurement and supply chain activities.
