Specialist Occupational Therapist – Community Mental Health Services
Apply to join NHS Scotland in a part‑time position within the South Community Mental Health Service.
This is a part‑time permanent contract for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, with a workload of 18.7 hours per week. The salary will be pro‑rata for the part‑time hours.
Responsibilities include:
Providing mental health/occupational therapy assessment and treatment for individuals and groups residing in the south side of Glasgow.
Developing and delivering appropriate interventions for adults with mental health difficulties.
Working collaboratively with other health‑care professionals within the Adult Community Mental Health Team.
Qualifications and experience:
Working experience in a mental health context.
Strong core occupational therapy skills with effective verbal and written communication.
Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy with current HCPC registration.
PVG Scheme membership/Disclosure Scotland Check.
Driving licence desirable.
You will receive operational and professional support and supervision from the Lead Occupational Therapist, and access to training for continuous professional development.
