Combination of innovative technology and advanced processing techniques has made MetaSensing a fast growing, global company with projects in Europe, South East Asia, Middle East, North and South America.
We are looking for a motivated Spaceborne Instrument System Engineer to support the development of advanced payloads, with a focus on Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) instruments for space platforms. The candidate will contribute to the system engineering process, working closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams throughout the payload lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the definition of system architectures and technical solutions for spaceborne payloads.
Assist in the management of requirements definition, allocation, and traceability.
Contribute to the coordination between different engineering domains (RF, mechanical, thermal, digital, AIV, etc.).
Participate in activity planning, progress monitoring, and reporting.
Support design reviews, test campaigns, and payload verification activities.
Prepare technical documentation in line with project and customer requirements.

Required skills and qualifications:

Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related scientific discipline.
2–5 years of experience in the development of space systems or other complex systems.
Knowledge of systems engineering methodologies, requirement management, and system architecture.
Knowledge of radar system principles
Experience with RF and Digital Instrument sections
Experience in Earth Observation field
Familiarity with SAR payloads development is considered a plus.
Understanding of the design process (from concept through to delivery and in-service support)
Good problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Candidate must be eligible to work in the EU.

Employment condition: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
