Responsibilities

Drive the implementation of business development strategies across Italy and originate and close new business opportunities.

Skills & Experience Requirements

Proven track record in a business development or sales role, achieving sales in a demanding environment.
Extensive experience with CCTV and associated technologies, or similar market segment, particularly presenting relevant solutions to end users and consultants/specifiers.
Ability to work independently to understand customer needs, define solutions, and create professional commercial proposals for system integrators and end-users.
Knowledge of the electronic security market, main channels, and potential customers within IT & Networking.
Previous experience working for a CCTV manufacturer is beneficial but not essential.
Good understanding of new technologies, especially network video systems and their topology.
Business or technical degree level education is advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Motivated to positively impact the market and enhance brand recognition.
Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams and key clients.
Independent thinking and sound judgment.
Motivational skills to lead teams to achieve targets.
Team player with successful team experience.
Logical, well-organized, with attention to detail.
Proactive problem solver.
Self-motivated, able to work independently.
Strong project management, product planning, and communication skills, capable of presenting to board-level and communicating clearly at all levels.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Fluent in English and at least one local European language.
Valid driving license.

Location: This is a field-based role, ideally based in South Italy. Extensive travel within Italy is expected, with occasional travel outside Italy.
