We’re transforming performance and efficiency for customers across the globe, giving them the vital edge in their markets.ResponsibilitiesMake an impactOur Software Service Engineers are responsible for maintaining live installations and providing customers with high-quality software assistance to ensure operational continuity of Swisslog’s automated warehouses. In this role, you adhere to the appropriate design strategies and development methodologies, as defined by our quality procedures.You will provide customers with assistance in case of software incidents within defined contracts.You will identify and analyze recurrent problems found at customer’s sites and develop action plans to resolve anomalous situations (bug fixing, development of new functionalities, optimizations, etc.).You will be responsible for new software deployments (both remotely and on-site) within predefined time slots agreed with customers.You will manually execute software integration tests (both in-house and on-site) and support off-shore developed software systems.You will work on rotational shifts, including nights and weekends.Application RequirementsWhat you need to succeedYou bring several years of previous experience in a commercial software development environment.You have a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, related subject, or equivalent.You have a good understanding of Java (SE, EE).You have a good knowledge of SQL programming.You are proficient in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design.You have a good understanding of relational database concepts and architecture (preferably MS SQL Server / Oracle).You are fluent in Italian and English.J-18808-Ljbffr
