Then come work with us and be part of MSC’s family!About the RoleWe are looking for a Software Lifecycle Support Engineer with a strong technical background to support our IT applications, preferably in the logistics domain (WMS, TMS, or similar systems).The main responsibility will be to analyze the code, understand where issues originate, and resolve bugs or incidents at Level 3 support.This role combines hands‑on technical work with strong collaboration across IT and development teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for our IT applications, with a focus on logistics information systems (WMS, TMS, etc.).Read and analyze code to identify and resolve issues.Troubleshoot and fix bugs or incidents to ensure optimal application performance.Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure timely issue resolution.Contribute to testing activities, including validation and verification of fixes.Participate in the management of the product backlog, reporting recurring issues and proposing technical improvements.Maintain documentation of problems, solutions, and application configurations.Ensure compliance with internal standards and best practices across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).Qualifications and SkillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven ability to read and understand source code to identify and troubleshoot issues.Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.Experience in software testing (unit, integration, or system testing).Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks and product backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.Team‑oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.Preferred QualificationsExperience with logistics or supply chain systems (WMS, TMS).Basic knowledge of SQL or scripting for troubleshooting purposes.Prior exposure to Level 3 application support or similar roles.What we offerWe offer a range of benefits including new Learning opportunities, a comprehensive Welfare System, Life and Health Insurance, Modern Workstation and Discounts within the MSC group.Moreover, MSC Technology Italy fosters a culture of innovation and wellbeing by simultaneously pursuing various initiatives.
