TXT E-Tech S.r.l. , part of TXT Group , is looking for one or more professionals to join an important Aerospace & Defence project as Software Engineer / Firmware Tester FPGA .
The selected candidates will be involved in requirements analysis, development, verification, and integration of VHDL-based firmware modules on FPGA platforms, working closely with technical teams in an international and highly technological environment.
Only candidates with at least 2 years of experience in similar roles will be considered.
Main Responsibilities
Analysis of input documents and definition of firmware requirements
Development and maintenance of FPGA firmware in VHDL
Design and implementation of testbenches for modules and submodules
RTL testing and verification through simulations, assertions, and coverpoints
Development of test setups and test plans
Preparation of technical documentation (requirements, design, test, reports)
Support in HW / FW / SW integration phases
Participation in technical project reviews
Required Technical Skills
Electronic design / FPGA firmware design
VHDL and basic knowledge of SystemVerilog
Development and simulation tools : Xilinx / AMD Vivado, Catapult HLS, ModelSim / QuestaSim
Use of oscilloscope and ILA
Knowledge of main communication standards : HDLC, CAN BUS, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART
Familiarity with Unix-based systems
Good command of Microsoft Office Suite
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
Nice to have :
Knowledge of TCL and Python
Experience with hardware testing and HIL techniques
Understanding of SoC architectures and AMBA / AXI4 / AHB buses
Soft Skills
Organizational flexibility and ability to work effectively in international teams
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good interpersonal and communication abilities
