OverviewInfoCamere, the digital innovation arm of the Italian Chambers of Commerce, invites applications for SOFTWARE ENGINEER (Reference: SOFEN1225) to support our digital transformation initiative. The role is based in Bari or Padua and offers a hybrid work model (office and smart working). Contract type: Permanent, full‑time, seniority level B2 under the CCNL metalmeccanico (level extension provided through the InfoCamere supplement).ResponsibilitiesDevelop application solutions with a high degree of autonomy according to provided technical specifications.Maintain and upgrade existing applications through corrective, adaptive and evolutionary interventions.Apply best coding practices to ensure quality and efficiency of code.Perform thorough testing and integration of components into the complete application.Produce and keep up‑to‑date technical documentation of the developed solutions.Collaborate on specification design and product analysis, employing structured and innovative methodologies.QualificationsSecondary education diploma.Minimum 2 years of experience in Java development, gained within the last 4 years.Proficient written and spoken Italian (B1 CQuEF).Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s in STEM fields; or 6‑month Full Stack courses; or additional Java experience.Technical expertise: Java (SE 1.8+; EE 8+), Spring, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, MySQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL, JPA, REST/SOAP, GIT, Maven, Jenkins.Additional skills valued: micro‑services architecture, AI/LLM chatbot integration.Selection ProcessCV screening for essential requisites.Individual interview to assess experience, motivation, and technical knowledge.Further evaluations (video presentations, technical tests, transversal skills assessment) may be introduced as needed.BenefitsWork‑life balance policy with flexible hours.Health and fringe benefits.Professional development through internal training and certification programs.Application deadline: 19/01/2026.
