Accountabilities

Lead, manage, and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering high performance and professional growth
Oversee software design, development, and implementation across multiple concurrent projects
Prioritize development work, remove blockers, and ensure timely and high-quality delivery
Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, scope, and technical solutions
Establish and maintain project timelines, ensuring delivery within agreed constraints
Enforce coding standards, best practices, and quality benchmarks across the team
Identify risks, perform root cause analysis on technical issues, and implement preventive solutions
Drive a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement
Communicate progress, challenges, and outcomes clearly to senior stakeholders

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
Proven experience managing high-performing engineering teams and delivering complex projects
Strong technical background with experience in Python, React, and relational and NoSQL databases
Solid understanding of large-scale system design and big data architectures
Experience working with agile development methodologies
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in fast-paced environments
Nice to have experience with cloud platforms, containerization, DevOps practices, or data and machine learning technologies
