Join us.Introduction to the teamWe are the Acquisition Marketing & Growth (AMG) team that shapes the first impressions of millions of travelers entering our ecosystem. We’re looking for a motivated, curious, and creative thinker to help build and elevate the upper-funnel landing experience for customers.As an integral member of the AMG team, you will design and implement engaging entry points for users across channels including direct traffic, paid advertising, organic SEO, SEM, social platforms, and emerging ones like AEO and GEO. Our goal is to craft a contextual and personalized experience that draws customers in and supports them as they explore and find the perfect travel options within the Expedia ecosystem.In this role, you will:Contribute to the development of features for the traveler experience across all Expedia Group brands’ landing pagesCollaborate with team members to co-develop and solve problemsImplement code that adheres to high-quality standards and utilizes best practicesProactively reach out to peers across environments and collaborate to solve problemsBuild basic automation, monitoring, and logging practices into daily tasks to develop technical expertiseUnderstand your team’s goals and work in a collaborative modeSeek knowledge from subject matter experts when neededUnderstand the importance of system and technology integration and basic features involved in the integration processDevelop and test standard software applications to meet design requirementsApply software design principles, data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals to write clean, maintainable, optimized codeParticipate in communities of practice aligned with your technology stackActively seek feedback and improve software usability and qualityReport clearly on current work statusExperience and qualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience0–2 years of hands-on software development experience, ideally in large-scale or enterprise environmentsExperience designing and implementing features based on known design principles and coding standardsProficient in at least one server-side language (e.g., Java, Kotlin) and experience with GraphQL/RESTful servicesFrontend libraries and frameworks: JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, React.js, Node.jsFamiliarity with cloud platforms like AWS is a plusKnowledge of unit and integration testing with frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Jest, Cypress, or SeleniumExperience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Spinnaker, or GitHub ActionsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsGood understanding of data patterns, storage, software development theory and designWhy Expedia Group?At Expedia Group, we empower engineers to learn, grow, and innovate.
