We supply approved products in our customers' countries or markets and offer a first-class supply chain and customer services locally.Secheron Hasler Italia is looking for a Software/Firmware Developer to join the R&D team at the Verona site.The Software Development we are looking for will have experience in the development of C and modern C++ applications (C++11/14/17). The ideal candidate will also be familiar with development of microcontroller FW.The new resource will collaborate on the design, new development and software/firmware maintenance of Secheron Hasler Operator Terminals (HMI) used in the railway sector and their supporting software tools.Responsibilities and key tasks, in this position, you will perform the following:Develop FW applications of microcontroller integrated into HMI devices.Write and update technical documentationRequirementsYou ideally bring the following:University degree in Electrical Engineering/IT or similar disciplines;Minimum 3 years of experienceThorough knowledge of C and modern C++ (C++11/14/17).Experience in using gnu autotools (automake)Knowledge of scripting language (Bash)experience in FW development on microcontrollers (for example NXP Arm Cortex-M7 andTI Hercules family)Experience in understanding HW and using HW tools for HW/FW debug and integration (in circuit debugging via JTAG, oscilloscope, etc)Experience on peripheral interfacing over i2c and SPI.Experience in using software versioning frameworks (GIT and SVN)Good knowledge of the English language (level B2/C1)Technical backgroundPreferred Qualifications AreTechnical background on embedded FW developmentFamiliarity with Agile software development methodologies and Scrum frameworks.BenefitsWe give our employees full responsibility for their work tasks.
