Position Summary
We’re looking for a Shopify Front-End Developer with 2 years of experience to join our remote team. You’ll collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to improve and maintain Shopify storefronts for a wide range of e-commerce clients. This is a a great opportunity to grow within a structured, and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Implement responsive, cross-browser compatible UIs with clean, semantic mark-up
Maintain and enhance existing storefronts without compromising functionality
Collaborate with the team on planning, problem-solving, and feature implementation
Debug and optimize front-end performance and codebase efficiency
Required qualifications
2 years of front-end development experience, ideally in a structured e-commerce environment (8+ employees)
Solid knowledge of JavaScript , including DOM manipulation and asynchronous programming-
Strong skills in HTML / CSS , including responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Comfortable working with Git and standard version control workflows
Strong problem-solving ability—able to debug issues and optimize existing codeAbility to learn independently and bring fresh ideas to the table
Clear and professional communication skills; able to work across cultures and time zones
Nice to have (not mandatory)
Deep understanding of native browser APIs and advanced DOM manipulation
Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Vite, or similar
Experience with API integrations (REST or GraphQL)
Testing mindset, with exposure to unit and integration testing
Experience using AI tools like Cursor or ChatGPT to boost productivity
