In this role, you will support warehouse activities and coordinate your team (forklift drivers, terminal operators, and truck drivers), reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, for both our internal and external Warehouse.Main responsibilities:As Shift Warehouse Leader, you will manage warehouse operations and ensure optimization by providing necessary information to your Warehouse Manager and other Warehouses across Italy. You will monitor all flows within your area, including Warehouse KPIs, Quality KPIs, and Safety KPIs, as well as managing flows IN/OUT, preparation and checking of goods, and shuttle operations.During your shift, you will support inventory management and ensure a smooth start-up. You will facilitate the handover of workers during shift changes.Regarding people management, you will allocate resources according to defined criteria, manage resources effectively, and coordinate vacation plans with the Warehouse Manager. You will contribute to resolving conflicts, draft worker merit plans, and provide feedback for personnel confirmation and evaluations.You will also support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting areas for enhancement within your area.Workplace safety is paramount; you will ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained through information dissemination and safety training. In terms of quality, you will implement measures to guarantee warehouse process quality, including enforcing quality policies and monitoring compliance.Who we are looking for:You should have a university Master's Degree in management, Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent field.You will contribute to the team’s success with your understanding of warehouse processes, interpersonal skills, and management abilities.Your interest in international mobility, passion, and curiosity for the Food sector will be valuable assets.Excellent communication skills in both Italian and English are essential for success in our environment.You will work on shifts as a key part of the process.If this role appeals to you and you wish to join our organization, please submit your application!How to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:Consumers, quality, and care are at the heart of everything we do.
