HZI serves clients ranging from established waste management companies to emerging partners in new markets, with over 1,600 reference projects worldwide.Job DescriptionYour responsibilitiesDevelop process engineering for service projects, ensuring compliance with deadlines and technical specifications, including:Process Flow Diagram (PFD) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) developmentSizing of static and rotating equipment, control and safety valves, and related technical documentationHeat and Material Balance, process simulation (advantageous)Technical evaluation and supplier offer comparisonParticipation in safety studies and reviewsSupport commissioning with control optimizations and plant performance testingEnsure compliance with HSE requirementsPrepare procedural documents, including designs, balance sheets, and data sheetsDefine technical guarantees, assess risks, and develop measures outside standard guaranteesEnsure process engineering implementation aligns with project concepts and HZI guidelinesPrepare operating manuals and technical documents for procurement and system inquiriesConduct technical meetings during procurement negotiationsPerform plant analyses, studies, and concept development for optimizationPrepare project-specific documentation and support official inspections and testsQualifications and ExperienceSafety and customer-oriented mindsetExperience in Oil & Gas, Energy sector, Waste to Energy, Renewable Energies, or ChemistryHigh autonomy in managing complex systemsKnowledge in system development, optimization, and cost awarenessExperience with international project teams is advantageousAbility to develop concepts for EfW and industrial plant applicationsAnalysis skills of OEM technologies and enhancement solutionsProcess handling across work stagesGood process knowledge of HZI systems and Waste to Energy plants is advantageousOperational knowledge and plant experience are beneficialHands-on mentality, decision-making, problem-solving, and complex situation management skillsSelf-driven, solution-oriented, and communicativeProficiency in engineering tools, MS Office, especially Excel, and presentation skillsFluent English (minimum B2); additional languages advantageousAdditional InformationWe offerChallenging responsibilities in a diverse fieldInternational, team-oriented work environmentPersonal development opportunities via Inova AcademyInsight into various technical disciplinesExcellent employment conditions and attractive workplace
