According to the indications given by the Service Project Manager, the Site Coordinator and Support Team carry out the technical service activities at the customers’ sites, cooperating with the relevant Service functions involved.They are responsible for organizing the job execution for the services provided, with particular attention to the technical content based on their direct experience.Their task includes the technical evaluation of GEA machines at customer sites, identifying mechanical and electrical components that need replacement or modernization.Main activities and tasks include:Actively participating in scheduled Service activities such as Audit, Maintenance, Modification, Revamping, Upgrade, and Modernization at customer sites.Defining spare parts, processing, and timing for machine overhauls, and managing line/machine restarts following maintenance, modifications, upgrades, or retrofits.Performing routine and extraordinary machine maintenance at customer sites.Preparing detailed technical reports on activities performed and those pending.Being available for worldwide travel (approximately 120 days per year).Coordinating and managing external technicians and subcontractors on site.Managing technical, operational, and timing details of interventions in accordance with received instructions.Working closely with the Site Coordinator and Service Project Manager to ensure safety standards are met and taking corrective actions if necessary.Creating maintenance lists.Handling internal tasks such as troubleshooting, remote support, and Help Desk services.Qualifications and profile:The candidate should have extensive experience as a Service transfer technician for plant maintenance and modifications in the Beverage industry, with strong management skills for service delivery, job organization, and customer relations. Technical planning and evaluation skills are also essential to analyze customer needs.The role requires:Autonomy in managing their own work.Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.Strong team management abilities, focusing on maintaining a positive company environment.Dispute resolution and mediation skills.Fluent English language skills.Solid basic knowledge of mechanics and electrotechnics.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Career path, training, and qualifications:A technical degree or equivalent in an industrial or technical field is required. Practical work experience is highly valued for recruitment, emphasizing the importance of hands-on skills and industry exposure.
