The products of BAC Europe are distributed across Europe, the Middle – East and North Africa.BAC Italy, a subsidiary of BAC Europe, offers a complete range of products and aftermarket services ensuring safe and optimal performance of BAC cooling towers and evaporative condensers.Position SummaryTo strengthen our BAC Italy team, we’re recruiting a Service Manager. As a service manager you are responsible for the sales of BAC aftermarket products and services. You also build and lead a team of Aftermarket salesmen to accomplish the sales and marketing objectives. Next to this you assess market opportunities, discuss them with the management and steer your sales team to convert the opportunity to a sale. In this role you advise and promote the optimal solution to customers making use of unique selling propositions for the specific market segment and competitive threat. You carefully monitor customer demands, requirements or opportunities and coordinate proposals based on BAC products/parts and services portfolio.ResponsibilitiesSales management: define objectives and sales targets, provide leadership to meet or exceed customer expectations, monitor and steer the aftermarket sales team on a daily basis. Responsible for one geographical area covering visits to customers/BAC installations, understanding customer requirements and providing solutions, working out quotations for aftermarket products and services.Service management: coordinate spare parts and services RFQ, coordinate inspections of engineers/technicians, plan and prioritise the schedule of the service technicians.QualificationsStrong and experienced people manager with good technical insight.Combine a technical education (apprenticeship) with a minimum of 10 years working experience in a technical/commercial environment.Crucial is having technical affinity and the eagerness to learn and get to know BAC products and markets.Strong people management skills and a stress‑resistant and flexible person.Engineering mind‑set combined with a good commercial drive.Handy and possesses practical insight.Customer oriented and focuses on providing solutions, first class listening and interaction skills to build long‑term relations.Fluently in Italian and English.Enjoy travelling with the territory: 40% inside office – 60% outside office and predominantly traveling from site to site.BenefitsAn exciting job within an international environment at a market leading company.You’ll work in an enthusiastic company and team where we stimulate training and personal development.A competitive salary added with fringe benefits.Seniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionEngineering, Sales, and Quality Assurance.
