As a Service Expert Technician, you’ll be responsible for both in house and field repairs of the entire Seital product line including auxiliary equipment used in conjunction with our equipment and you may need to provide additional support for other SPXFLOW products.In this role, you will be expected to travel up to 80% of your time both domestically and internationally to meet the customer’s needs while acquiring in-dept knowledge on SPXFLOW machines.ResponsibilitiesMaintain an unwavering commitment to safety policies and proceduresInstall equipment and components at customer sitesTroubleshoot, test and repair equipment and components according to established quality procedures at customer sites and if need via remotePerform teardown and diagnostic tests to ensure proper functionalityRespond to customer questions regarding operation and malfunctionHelp ensure customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventative maintenance and configurations that may favorably impact performanceMaintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that interfaces well with customers and SPX Flow team membersAdvise Product Management and Product Development of recurring component failureProduce detailed service reports for the field visits and follow safety procedures to assure a clean and safe work environment is promoted and maintainedWhat do I need? / QualificationsIn order to succeed you’ll also need :Hands-on experience as a field service technician, repairing and overhauling industrial machinesCapable of upselling and recommending additional parts and services while on siteMechanical background / Technical Degree - preferably in Food & BeverageStrong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as a strong member of a teamWillingness to travel up to 80% of your timeOpen-minded and flexibleGreat communication and interpersonal skillsEager to grow within SPXFlow and learn about different technologies and equipmentFluent in EnglishNice to havePrevious experience in servicing industrial equipment - ideally in centrifugal machines, liquids separators or similarItalian languageMore about SPX FlowWe improve the world through innovative, sustainable solutions.
