Flexibility, including availability for overtime and weekend work, is key.More tasks and responsibilitiesDiagnostics and troubleshooting of electrical systems, mechanical and hydraulicsSupervise and perform service activities such as inspections, preventative maintenance and corrective actionsIdentify service and spares sales opportunities and communicate them to the line manager to support all activitiesProvide information and write reports as requiredFollow all site safety rules, agreed working practices and environmental requirementsComply with all relevant safety and quality requirements according to MacGregorWhat you’ll need to succeedYou have a background in the merchant, offshore or maritime industry, with a primary focus on electrical or hydraulic equipment. Knowledge and experience in basic mechanical is a plus. We are looking for a communicative, technically skilled individual who is passionate about problem-solving and committed to customer satisfaction. You are goal-oriented and have a reliable working style. The ideal candidate will enjoy hands-on work and thrive in a collaborative, multicultural environment.Ideally you haveTechnical education within the electrical, control and automation field. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of education.Minimum 3 years’ experience in equivalent positionPrevious experience in the maritime/shipping industryPrevious experience with RoRo equipment is a mustValid driver\'s license is essentialFluent in Italian both written and spoken while proficient in EnglishThe position is part of our Global Services Division, located in Genova, Italy.
