Senior Utilities Engineer – PM BMT Crespellano (Bologna - Italy)

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop and implement utility systems—including ventilation, water/sewage, gas/fuel, power, heating, cooling, lighting and fire protection—to meet organisational needs, efficiency targets and regulatory standards.
Maintain comprehensive engineering documentation and best‑practice records, ensuring they are regularly updated.
Lead utility‑related projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling and resource allocation.
Ensure all systems comply with company, local, state and federal safety and environmental regulations.
Implement strategies for energy, water and CO₂ conservation and efficiency improvements.
Collaborate with engineers, technicians and other departments to deliver integrated, efficient projects.

Required Qualifications

6–10 years of experience in utility engineering roles within large, structured multinational companies.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certifications are preferred.
Extensive knowledge of utility systems design criteria, processes and implementation.
Understanding of design/construction phases, sourcing and contract methodologies.
Proficiency with MS Office and project‑management tools; AutoCAD/design skills are desirable.
Familiarity with regulations and standards governing utility systems.
Fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
