Job Title: Communications and Information Systems Technician (ISR system administration) – Grade G10

Salary: €4,041.51 per month (Subject to 20% pension/medical deductions)
Responsibilities
Support the System Administration team responsible for ISR system administration and software maintenance.
Assist users with rights and role distribution and address software issues.
Support the Exploitation Systems team in maintaining exploitation systems.
Act as trainer for System Administration features at the NISRF Training Center.
Provide engineering‑level support for ISR core and related assets across multiple platforms.
Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of all organic CIS capabilities in the MOB and deployed locations on a 24/7 basis.
Working Conditions
Operations conducted at an operational airbase, with possible access to runways and aircraft hard‑standing areas. Work‑day shifts with potential for deployments or temporary duty assignments (TDY) overseas. Deployments may exceed 30 days and can reach up to 183 days in a 547‑day period, often on short notice.
Risk of injury is categorized as “No Risk.”
Qualifications and Experience
Higher secondary education with intermediate vocational training and at least 2 years of related experience, or secondary education with advanced vocational training and at least 4 years of related experience.
Strong knowledge of server/client installation, virtual environments, and IP‑based networking.
Experience with Linux operating systems.
English proficiency – listening & reading “professional”; speaking & writing “functional” (SLP 3322 NATO).
Desirable
Expert knowledge of Linux.
Expert knowledge of virtualization technologies.

Security Clearance & Medical Requirements
Applicants must be eligible for a NATO security clearance at the required level and have a valid medical clearance from the NATO Medical Adviser. Clearance will be obtained post‑selection.
