Job Opportunity: Embedded Firmware Developer

We are seeking to expand our Software Development team, reporting directly to the Software Development Manager. This role involves collaborating with R&D, Operations, Industrialization, Quality, Sales, and Marketing departments. You will lead the design of embedded devices in the smart metering sector, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Technical supervision of firmware development in compliance with industry standards;
Active contribution to code development and review;
Planning, coordination, and monitoring of project activities (software, hardware, mechanical);
Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders (clients, suppliers, other company departments);
Overseeing project documentation and supporting certification and homologation processes;
Promoting team growth through mentoring, code reviews, and dissemination of best practices;
Adopting and promoting Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields;
At least 5 years of experience in embedded firmware development;
Excellent knowledge of C language and good knowledge of C++ and Agile methodologies, project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence);
Fluent in English (written and spoken);
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with problem-solving abilities and time management;
Experience in IoT or related fields;
Knowledge of wireless communication protocols (wM-Bus, LoRa, NB-IoT, ZigBee);
Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master).
