Amazon is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Site Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager to join our team. In this role, you will partner with the site-level operations team to execute company WHS policies and ensure compliance with applicable local and regional regulations. By leveraging lean principles and Kaizen events, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in Amazon’s processes to ensure a safe and healthful working environment for our associates. You will build trust with cross-functional operations teams and influence change through comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis. You will train operations leadership and site WHS professionals in EHS policies while assisting regional teams in incorporating safety standards across sites. Your experience in safety programs and ergonomic knowledge in an operations environment will be crucial. You will develop and mentor a team of safety managers and safety professionals at your designated site and create leadership development plans for the team. As a senior WHS leader, you will assess safety talent to ensure current and future bench strength.
