If Manhattan sounds like the place for you, share your resume with us!Position: Senior Project Controls ManagerSummary:The Sr. Project Controls Manager is responsible for the general administration of all Manhattan project controls practices and policies within their region. This role involves managing the operational platform for Manhattan and ensuring regional projects adhere to operational guidelines. The position requires business management skills, strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Major Duties & Responsibilities:Provide leadership and training to enable project teams to operate according to company standards.Assist in training Operations Managers for implementation of Manhattan standards and policies.Monitor software standards and training across the company.Track and act on Key Performance Indicators in various systems.Assist in developing project execution plans within the region.Champion at least one PM system company-wide, creating and updating training materials and ensuring consistency.Lead project controls efforts on mid-size or larger projects.Assist Project Directors with Job Cost Budget / GMP Strategy related to systems and financials.Lead the Project Performance Review process within the region.Enforce standards for value management, change management, purchasing, subcontractor prequalification, and notifications.Analyze, identify, and resolve issues with PM Systems.Assist in reviewing and rolling out new software.Conduct themselves in accordance with our Guiding Principles and exhibit attributes of the Way We Work.Perform other duties as assigned.Skills & Abilities:Strong financial acumen.Tech-savvy.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Effective independently and as part of a team.Strong leadership qualities.Decision-making and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PM Systems.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Understanding of various delivery methods.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Math, or equivalent.15 years of industry experience.Working Conditions and Physical Efforts:Ability to stand, bend, sit for long periods, and squat throughout the day.Repeat movements as necessary.Effective communication for meetings, video conferences, and calls.Use hands for typing, handling, and controlling objects or tools.Occasionally lift or move up to 25 lbs.Occasional travel within the metro area and domestically (must have a valid Driver's License).About ManhattanFounded in 1896, Manhattan is a top-ranked national construction services firm offering preconstruction, management, general contracting, and design-build services.
