We are looking for a Production Planner to join our Demand & Operation Planning Team.The Production Planner will be responsible for defining production plans, scheduling manufacturing activities, and optimizing resource utilization to meet delivery deadlines and quality standards. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with production, logistics, and quality teams.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze production needs based on sales forecasts and received orders.Plan and schedule manufacturing activities to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with quality standards.Coordinate operations across production departments to optimize resources and minimize downtime.Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to determine raw material and component needs while monitoring inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the timely availability of materials and optimize procurement processes.Track production performance, identify deviations, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.Work closely with the D&OP team and cross-functional departments to align production planning with market demand, support risk mitigation, and improve planning methodologies.RequirementsExperience & Technical SkillsAt least 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management.Strong knowledge of MRP systems and production scheduling tools.Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.Soft SkillsExcellent organizational and time management skills.Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience in lean manufacturing or process optimization.Certifications in supply chain management or production planning (e.g., APICS, CPIM).illycaffè as B-Corp is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace generating positive effects for the environment, for the community and for people.
