A Day in the Life
Are you ready to join an extraordinary team on a mission to transform the lives of peripheral vascular patients and customers? As (Senior) Product Specialist for Embolization and Venous Therapies in Italy, you will be responsible for driving marketing activities to accelerate the adoption of our embolization and venous portfolios, support market development, gain market share, and achieve Medtronic’s ambitious growth targets, with a specific focus on new product launches and emerging indications. This role will cover whole Italy and is a remote role.
The Peripheral Vascular Health (PVH) Operating Unit is dedicated to the treatment of peripheral arterial and venous diseases. We offer our physician customers a comprehensive suite of products and therapies to treat varying degrees of vascular diseases — disorders of the circulatory system outside of the brain and heart. Our goal is to help healthcare professionals save limbs, reduce pain, and treat disease — so their patients can get back to enjoying what they love.
Responsibilities

Manage the marketing plan development and execution for Italy, including the development of marketing strategies, customer segmentation and targeting, and implementation of campaigns and tactics.
Consistently and effectively communicate appropriate product, market, clinical, and competitive information to the local sales organization.
Coordinate participation in local conferences and events, including booth, contracts, and speakers.
Lead new product launches, including pricing strategy, internal training, dissemination of promotional materials, internal and external communications, and launch tracking.
Establish strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and leverage KOL to promote products.
Manage local supply and demand activities, including prioritization of product allocations.
Support applications to tenders for the embolization and venous portfolios.
Ensure marketing expenses stay within the approved budget (Annual Operating Plan).
Develop competitive and market intelligence in collaboration with the sales organization and third parties.

Required Knowledge and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing in the medical device industry in a national and/or international role.
Advanced IT skills in MS Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint.
Good knowledge of Business Intelligence & CRM software (Tableau, PowerBI, Salesforce).
Fluent in Italian and English.
Master’s degree in business, marketing, or engineering (preferred).
Expertise in embolization and/or venous therapies.

Benefits & Compensation
Medtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. Pay range: Italy: 50,720.00 EUR - 76,080.00 EUR.
