OverviewSenior Process Engineer for fume treatment plant — Tenova. We are looking for a qualified professional to join our Environmental Technologies Team to work on projects with high technology complexity in an international environment.In this role you will influence process design and provide engineering solutions to final supply, aiming to enhance the process, add value, reduce costs, and simplify operations.ResponsibilitiesProcess design of the fume treatment system for Meltshops: Process Flow Diagram, P&I, Interlocking Matrix, Functional DescriptionCustomer follow up: Training, Standard Operating Practices, monitor process parameters and optimizationProject setup, cold testing, commissioning, performance verification, and partial erection advisor activitiesDefine technical choices for process quality/cost levels according to project requirementsConduct inspections and assessments of plant and equipment on siteProvide feedback to headquarter with on-site lessons learnedPrepare process specifications and appropriate sizing of system componentsManage technical documentation of the process, review and comment on offers and supplier documentsActive role in process innovation by seeking new technologies and developing existing applicationsMaintain, review and improve industry standards, systems, procedures and best practicesProvide process engineering input to marketing and proposals to support Business DevelopmentProvide process information, such as basic design calculations and process-engineering inputQualificationsMaster’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical); specialization in Advanced Material and Manufacturing is an added value3+ years of experience in the steel industryDedusting system knowledgeAbility to communicate with customers from plant operators to general managersAbility to organize and manage site activitiesAbility to understand and deliver piping and instrumentation diagramsKnowledge of engineering calculation techniquesCompetence in using simulation software and other methodologiesWillingness to work in a teamFluent in EnglishWillingness to travelOptional: Knowledge of PC tools (CRM and/or ERP)WorkplaceCastellanza (VA)
