Welcome to Obton
At Obton A/S, we specialize in the procurement, development, operation, and management of large-scale solar parks and battery storage projects worldwide. Founded in 2009, we now have over 1,500 solar installations across Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America.
In 2022, we ventured into the battery storage market and today we have projects totaling 218 MW. We are part of the Obton Group, a large international organization with many skilled specialists. Our more than 300 colleagues are based at our headquarters in the beautiful surroundings of Nicolinehus on Aarhus Ø, as well as at our 10 international offices across Europe and Asia.
Primary task
We are looking for a qualified new colleague to our team in (the department), where some of your primary tasks will be:

Identify, evaluate, and develop new solar PV projects.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility analyses from a technical, economic, and environmental perspective.
Plan and manage project activities, including budgeting and scheduling.
Handle regulatory and permitting processes, ensuring full compliance with local and national regulations.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including consultants, local authorities, landowners, and technical partners.
Monitor project progress and manage milestones throughout the development phase.
Ensure quality control during project development and support the execution of investment plans.
Provide analysis and reporting to support strategic and investment decisions.

As a part of Greenfield Development department, you will get 3 close colleagues. The common thing for us is that we are very ambitious and dedicated, but it is especially important for us to have fun while working hard.

General expectations of competences and experience

Strong skills in project management, planning, and budgeting.
Experience with site assessment activities and regulatory compliance.
Proven ability to coordinate stakeholders and manage quality control processes.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a hybrid and international work environment.
Experience in the renewable energy industry, preferably within solar PV.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
