Position
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Maintenance Engineer for the Tempa Rossa project in Guardia Perticara (PZ).
Responsibilities

Define and implement maintenance policies for mechanical equipment, proposing new strategies when necessary.
Contribute to reliability studies and define maintenance plans aligned with company strategies.
Supervise maintenance program execution with site staff, organising full mechanical audits based on predefined specifications and annual objectives.
Develop and validate operating procedures for routine and extraordinary mechanical maintenance interventions.
Participate in Shut‑Down preparation, ensuring target shutdown times and coordinating operational interfaces with other departments for job lists or scopes of work.
Analyse functional parameters of mechanical equipment to spot early failures and propose corrective actions to prevent unscheduled downtime on critical machines.
Monitor predictive and condition‑based maintenance activities, tracking equipment performance and recommending improvements to optimise maintenance practices.
Participate in equipment selection and define maintenance engineering strategies for revamping or small projects.
Manage spare parts and technical stock, supervising the MRP system, addressing obsolescence cases and optimising inventory.
Supervise direct and indirect contractors, focusing on third‑party companies and suitability of equipment used on plant sites; define and consolidate technical specifications for outsourcing services.
Report anomalies and incidents, participate in root‑cause analysis (RCA) and ensure correct follow‑up of corrective action plans.
Assist in preparing annual maintenance budgets, major revisions and development works, keeping budget constraints and cost control.
Integrate campaign mode when applicable to optimise resource and workload allocation.
Provide technical support to contractors for advanced diagnostics and programme treatment of programmes \&· &‑.
