Amsterdam preferred – EMEA flexibleAbout the roleThe Senior Manager, Medical Science Liaison - Neurovascular role is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and advancing Stryker’s European Medical Education strategy and external clinical partnerships.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipDefine and drive the European physician and industry engagement strategy, alongside Educational needs in alignment with global objectives.Translate long-term strategy into clear execution plans and measurable outcomes.Analyze evolving market dynamics, competitive trends, and customer needs to inform decision-making.Actively contribute to the development of mid- and long-term strategic vision.Senior Manager, Medical Science LiaisonDevelop, maintain, and elevate a robust European network of key opinion leaders.Establish and strengthen partnerships with scientific societies, research institutions, and leading clinicians.Ensure KOL engagement supports high-quality, compliant, and impactful education programs.Provide clinical and scientific leadership to support credibility and effective influence.Medical Education Program ExcellenceSet direction for the Medical Education program portfolio, including platforms, content, and delivery models.Drive continuous improvement in the design, quality, and effectiveness of education offerings.Define and monitor performance metrics, analyze results, and implement improvement plans.Establish Medical Education communication strategies aligned with global frameworks.People LeadershipLead, develop, and coach a high-performing Medical Education team.Drive performance through clear priorities, structured processes, and effective workload management.Recruit, develop, and retain talent to support future organizational needs.Cross-Functional Collaboration & GovernanceFoster strong collaboration with Product Marketing, Sales Training, Commercial, and Medical Education stakeholders.Communicate strategy effectively to gain alignment across regional and global teams.Manage budgets, evaluate return on investment, and prioritize future initiatives.Share best practices to support product adoption and improved patient outcomes across Stryker.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degreeMinimum of 10 years’ professional experienceDemonstrated experience managing teams and complex, cross-functional initiativesProven ability to influence stakeholders in a matrix organizationStrong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skillsExcellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation capabilitiesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointPreferred QualificationsMBA or equivalent advanced degree7+ years of experience in medical devices and/or Medical Education4+ years of people management experienceExperience working across regions within a multinational organizationAbility to manage multiple strategic initiatives in parallel and deliver against timelinesAdditional InformationEurope-wide role with location flexibilityTravel requiredNeurovascular portfolio: Neurovascular | StrykerStryker is a global leader in medical technologies and, together with its customers, is driven to make healthcare better.
