Michael PageAs Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for leading financial planning, reporting, and oversight for investment vehicles and portfolio companies, mainly in Italy. Reporting jointly to the Investment Team and the Group Head of Corporate Functions, you will ensure financial stability, regulatory compliance, and support the investments' growth across sectors and investment strategies in infrastructure projects, with a prevailing focus on energy sector.Financial Planning & AnalysisDevelop and implement financial plans aligned with the company's long-term objectives and investment mandateOversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning activities across portfolio companies and investment vehiclesSupport strategic decision-making by providing financial insights on sector trends, regulatory developments, and capital allocationFinancial Reporting & OversightEnsure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with Italian GAAP (OIC), IFRS, and applicable tax regulationsCoordinate and/or supervise the activities of external finance and accounting providers, ensuring quality, consistency and complianceManage consolidated financial reporting in alignment with both local statutory requirements and group consolidation needsOversee working capital, treasury, and overall cash flow visibility across the portfolioLoan Compliance & Capital StructureMonitor compliance with loan agreements and covenants (e.g., project financing, mezzanine, senior loans), coordinating with lenders and advisorsAct as point of contact with middle-office financial institutions and ensure regular updates on financial performance and obligationsWork with the investment team to assess capital structure and funding strategiesInvestment & Corporate Development SupportCooperate with the Investment Team on M&A, exits and capital deployment activities as needed.Support financial modelling and due diligence processes, validating business plans and scenariosEnsure financial inputs are trusted and consistent across investment workflows.Governance Risk And ComplianceAct as a Finance Business Partner to both the Investment Team and Group Functions.Oversee relationships with accounting and compliance providers to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.Prepare and deliver financial presentations, performance dashboards, and updates to the Board of Directors and investors.Leadership & Cross-functional CoordinationAct as a Finance Business Partner to both the Investment Team and Group FunctionsManage the relationship with accounting and compliance providers, ensuring timely and high-quality deliveryCoordinate financial presentations, performance dashboards and updates to the Board of Directors and investorsEducationBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or Master's in Energy/Infrastructure Finance is a plusCertificationsCPA, CFA, or similar financial certification preferredExperienceMinimum 10 years in senior finance roles, ideally within investment platforms, infrastructure/construction, or corporate financeBackground in audit firms or financial transaction advisory is highly valuedProven track record in managing external providers and supervising end-to-end reporting processesExperience in dynamic, lean organizational environments, collaborating with multiple stakeholdersPrior experience in a contract-based construction or infrastructure business environment will be considered as a strong plusFamiliarity with the clean energy and energy efficiency sector is highly valuedTechnical SkillsExtensive knowledge of IFRS, Italian GAAP (OIC), and related tax and accounting regulations.Expertise in financial modelling, project finance structures, and financial due diligence.Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.Capacity to balance local operations with global corporate policies and drive process improvements.Exceptional time management, adaptability, and problem-solving capabilities.Fluency in Italian and English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.Personal SkillsExceptional time management and prioritization skillsStrong leadership, communication, and negotiation abilitiesAbility to balance local operations with international corporate policiesProactive mindset, open to innovation and process improvement (including potential implementation of new tools)Flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving mindset, suited to the pace and complexity of an investment management groupFluent in Italian and English; other languages are an advantageOur Client is an operational asset management company focused on energy sectorExcellent career opportunity.Settore: AltroRuolo: Altro
