Senior Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage electrical engineering design and installation activities from design through commissioning.
Review electrical designs, identify gaps, and provide recommendations on cable sizing and technical specifications.
Prepare, manage, and submit technical documentation and approvals for electrical systems.
Liaise with project teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
Coordinate with BIM teams to ensure designs are constructible and maintainable.
Conduct system walk‑downs and commissioning activities, including managing specialist vendors.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and graduates.
Support pre‑construction and ongoing engineering activities, including QA, procurement, and design reviews.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
7+ years’ experience in electrical engineering for construction projects, ideally in commercial, industrial, pharma, or data centre environments.
Expertise in both LV and MV systems.
Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and standards (ETCI, BS7671, EN, IEC, building regulations).
Strong experience with AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux, Adobe Pro, and MS Office Suite.
Proven track record of client, vendor, and contractor management.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
