Social network you want to login/join with:Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Systems, Leccecol-narrow-leftClient:RINALocation:Job Category:Other-EU work permit required:Yescol-narrow-rightJob Reference:27fa5bb1fb86Job Views:6Posted:18.06.2025Expiry Date:02.08.2025col-wideJob Description:RINA is currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Systems to join its office in Genoa, Rome, Milan, Lecce (Italy) within the Green Energy Solutions Division.MissionThis role focuses on engineering consultancy and design of MV/HV electrical systems concerning power generation and industrial facilities grid connection.Key AccountabilitiesDevelop plans and make calculations for a variety of elements within an engineering project, draw blueprints and electrical diagrams.Coordinate direct day-to-day support and oversight of project elements, visit sites to take measurements, lead direct or indirect support to engineers or engineering teams by gathering data for permit applications, submitting documentation to officials, and other day-to-day duties.Coordinate and communicate project groups as needed on major projects in the Business Units. Responsible for the production and performance of assigned projects.Establish working relationships with operations management to facilitate project coordination and execution, minimizing operational impact.Develop the technical competencies in the engineering scope of works. Assist the PM during project execution, including resource allocation, mobilization planning, progress reports, client relationships, change orders, invoicing, purchase requisitions, and technical evaluations.Ensure accurate and timely reporting standards are maintained throughout the projects.Monitor engineering progress against budget and schedule. Lead risk assessments and manage project and business risks.Handle technical and contractual project close-out, ensuring proper reporting.Prepare project estimates, budgets, schedules, and execution plans.Adhere to the Quality Policy and contribute to the QMS improvements.Serve as liaison between engineering and construction personnel, answering contractor questions on behalf of the supervising engineer.EducationMaster’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic/TLC Engineering.QualificationsMandatory: At least 8 years of experience in electrical system design for power generation plants (conventional/renewables) and/or HV/MV electrical systems, preferably in an Engineering and Consultancy Company or EPC Contractor.Good knowledge of AutoCad and power system study software (ETAP/DIgSILENT PowerFactory, Neplan or similar).Knowledge of DIALux (or similar lighting calculation software) and/or DEHN Risk Tool is a plus.Good command of English, both written and spoken.CompetenciesAddress the way - Big picture thinking and reinterpreting situations.Build network - Establish trust relationships internally and externally.Client intimacy - Embrace client needs and expectations.Earn trust - Value diverse opinions and remain open.Make effective decisions - Prioritize activities effectively.Manage emotions - Recognize and regulate emotional responses.Pioneer change - Embrace and benefit from change.Promote sustainable development - Keep promises and serve as a role model.Think forward - Use past experiences to plan future actions.With over 5,600 employees and 200 offices in 70 countries, RINA provides certification, marine classification, product testing, site supervision, vendor inspection, training, and engineering consultancy services.
