The Sr. Digital Merchandiser will support the Global Head of Ecommerce for the implementation of the online GTM strategy across Missoni.com and e-Concession platforms. He / She will be responsible for translating the trading plans into online merchandising plans, ensuring cohesion and alignment between the two including ranging, trading activity and content requirementsPRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIESStrategy and planning :Integration of financial plans into merchandising plans at category levelOnline calendar management : support the Head of Ecommerce in the onsite execution of seasonal product pushes and brand storiesBuying ownership of all the Brand Collection (Ready-to-Wear, Home, Licensing) for all the direct digital channelsDevelopment of exclusive merchandising assortments for the online channelsManage digital asset brief process in support of the seasonal online calendar execution (lead of the relationship with creative team for digital assets production)Development of the product mix in conjunction with merchandising team to ensure optimum sell-throughAnalysis of the online sales trends for seasonal briefs for product development purposesIn-season executionMaximization of online sales and profit through merchandising & trading plans backed up with leading onsite executionOnline store categorization and visual merchandising guidelines definitionOwnership of merchandising analysisQUALIFICATIONS3 to 5 years’ experience in eCommerce merchandising & buyingStrong business acumen & analytical skillsProficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel)Fluent English, further languages beneficialClear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skillsSales experience and knowledge of digital marketing dynamics are a plus.Missoni is an equal opportunity employer and we are proud to hire and develop talented people.
