Senior Data Engineer
CRIF, a prestigious and innovative international group specializing in informational solutions, decision models, outsourcing, software, and consulting services to support banks, financial companies, insurance companies, utilities, and telecommunications companies, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer. The successful candidate will join our “Advanced Analytics Global” area, the centre of excellence at CRIF that combines expertise in Data Science, Data Engineering, and Generative AI.
Profile
PhD or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Mathematics, or similar.
3+ years of experience in Data Engineering / AI fields
Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork capabilities
Strong communication skills
Hard Skills
Excellent knowledge in Python programming (focus on production ready framework and tools : e.g. uv, ruff)
Excellent knowledge of software engineering best practices (OOP, SOLID)
Solid experience in using cloud services and platforms (AWS and Databricks preferred)
Solid experience with orchestration tools (Dagster, Airflow, dbt)
Solid experience with code versioning tools (in particular git)
Familiarity with API design
Familiarity with DevOps best practices and CI / CD pipeline management
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployment
Knowledge of MLOps / LLMOps
Knowledge of major web frameworks (FastAPI) and microservices architectures
Nice to have
Experience with Data Governance concepts (Data Lineage, Data Quality)
Knowledge of ML / DL libraries
Experience with agent protocols (e.g. MCP, A2A, ACP) and agentic design patterns
Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Qdrant) and integration with AI systems, for example RAG
Contributions in Open Source projectsBasic knowledge of other programming languages (Scala, Rust)
