Senior Back-end Developer (Java)
Jobbit is hiring a highly qualified Senior Back-end Developer (Java) to join our hybrid team.
Responsibilities

Design and implement backend services and APIs using Java and Node.js.
Optimize application performance and scalability.
Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers.
Manage code repositories and workflows using GitHub.
Integrate and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.).
Ensure high code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Contribute to architectural decisions and technology strategy.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in backend development.
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, and Node.js.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration.
Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team‑oriented environment.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Nice to Have

Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda).
Knowledge of monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, etc.).
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
