Reporting to the Manager, this full-time and permanent position is based in Luxembourg and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Accounting Department and its’ growth.Key responsibilities :Client servicing through means of an in-depth knowledge of client files, client communication and internal procedures :Responsible for administration, bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements of various Luxembourg companiesPrepare and review the monthly, quarterly and year-end closingsPrepare and review the interim accounts on behalf of the client as necessaryLiaise and interact with clients, other offices and client advisors in order to prepare the financial statementsLiaise with the legal teams for the preparation of supporting accounting documentation and assist them for the preparation of the boardLiaise with the central operations teams for the audit of financial statementsLiaise with the central operations teams for the completion of VAT / CIT returnsLiaise with the central operations teams for LUX GAAP, US GAAP or IFRS reportingRecord the working hours / client in the time billing system according to the objectives setAs a senior, we expect you to coach, develop and serve as a role model for members of your team :Share your knowledge and experience with your colleaguesCoach and review the work of other team membersBe a buddy for new joiners in the team, in order to train and guide themKey requirements :Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, clients and third parties including lawyers, bankers, tax advisors and notariesBe a team player and be supportive towards your colleaguesTake initiative by proactively following up on daily mattersAnticipate potential queries and issues. Address these queries in a timely manner by informing the responsible Team Leader and / or any other Vistra officerBe a role model to less senior colleagues in terms of professionalism and behaviourMaintain communication with clientsEnsure that client deadlines are metAdhere to internal procedures at all timesBuild up an in-depth knowledge of your portfolio of clients, i.e. background, purpose and structureUniversity degree in Accounting / Finance, (ACCA-qualified or part qualified would be a distinct advantage)Strong Knowledge of LuxGaap, (IFRS, Consolidation and / or USGaap would be an advantage)Minimum of 5 years of experience with a professional services firmExcellent communication and organisational skills in order to meet tight deadlinesStrong relationship management skillsProactive with a client service orientated attitudeAbility to develop and grow our commercial business activityAbility to solve problems, work independently and as a member of a teamIf you are excited about working with us, we encourage you to apply or have a confidential chat with one of our Talent Acquisition team members.
