We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to work within our global Account Management team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in Account Management from a leading digital agency specialising in sport.
Ambitious and confident, with first-class client servicing skills; meticulous in the detail, hugely personable and have an eye for spotting growth opportunities across client accounts.
The successful applicant must be passionate about sport, sports media and finding creative solutions to exceed client expectations. Working into the SVP for Account Management, they will be responsible for the day-to-day management and growth of some of Deltatre’s biggest clients.
Responsibilities
Accountability – Operating as the lead point of contact for your clients, the Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships that are growing commercially
The day-to-day – Establishing priorities and ensuring team members are aware of their responsibilities to enable the smooth running and the effective management of all client projects
Financial and commercial management – the Account Manager should show a clear understanding of the financial status of their accounts at all times.
Internal collaboration – Acting as the 'voice of your client' internally, gathering their requirements and with the help of our internal teams, transforming them into compelling digital solutions
Stakeholder management – Understanding the process of scoping, designing, developing, testing and releasing products and guiding your clients through these cycles
Strategic direction – Understanding the needs of each client to define and drive their roadmap. You will be able to explore and identify new opportunities and present solid strategic thinking with clarity
Problem-solving – Having an overview of all your projects and looking ahead should mean you are able to anticipate issues/roadblocks ahead (and opportunities!). The Account Manager should be confident to develop and put in place contingency plans, escalating as appropriate, in a timely fashion
Client partnership – You are looking to develop client relationships based on partnership rather than just functional & service level. This will require a robust understanding of the Client’s business
Presence - Keen to build own profile in the industry and representing Deltatre at relevant events
Have the ability to communicate the Deltatre proposition and values effectively
Requirements
Minimum 3-year proven client services experience in delivering projects such as OTT platforms
Commercial Acumen, ability to drive the talk with Customers being able to build trust and strategic relationships
A good knowledge of industry leading technology in order to guide your clients strategically
Personable and confident with first-class relationship management skills and expertise
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on specific client needs
Forecasting and accurate reconciliations to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
Managing the work priorities of yourself and your project team. Being able to thrive in a very fast-paced environment
Passion for excellence, only allowing the optimum solution, and having an opinion on what that is!
Customer focused with excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Confident pitching and presenting to C-level down
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Creation of client keynote presentations as required
A good sense of humour and self-awareness
International attitude and ability to work in a multicultural environment
Willingness to travel – Deltatre is a global business with a worldwide office presence and has clients in every continent
Fluent Italian and English, both spoken and written; other languages beneficial but not mandatory
