**About the role** The Security Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day security force of the resort to ensure the safety and security of all guests, employees and property. The role includes risk, loss management of the property, supporting workplace safety, life/fire safety systems, and preventing situations that could jeopardize the safety and operation of the hotel. The ideal candidate must have strong communication and problem-solving skills.-Promote safety, awareness and enforcement throughout the hotel to reduce accidents and loss by providing training as required. Initiate and assist with Worker’s Compensation reports.-Respond to all emergency calls including Emergency Response Team calls. Will assist base building when needed. Display complete knowledge of the Fire/Life system and all support systems, their functions and emergency response procedures.-Be responsible for additional Security duties in the absence of the Director of Security/Security manager.-Confident presentation skills and/or training sessions for employees or property leadership. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills that is friendly and helpful in disposition.-Must possess creative problem-solving skills.-Furtherduties notcurrentlylistedinthisoutlinemaybeaddedatthe manager’s discretion. -High school education or equivalent experience.-Average reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.-2 years of experience in law enforcement or security work preferred but not required.Four Seasons believes in offering the best to the best when it comes to employee benefits!
