Our Genoa headquarter is strictly inter-connected with our 11 centres around Italy and two outer-stations based in the US for a truly interdisciplinary experience.YOUR TEAMYou’d be working in a multi-disciplinary group, where people with different backgrounds collaborate, each with their own expertise, to carry out the research.For this position, we are looking for a highly motivated and proactive engineer to play the important role of project manager and support for the scientific and technical management of the Bioinspired Soft Robotics projects.Within the team, your main responsibilities will be to :Provide high-level support in managing Bioinspired Soft Robotics projects.Collaborate with a team of researchers and technicians, supporting day-to-day R&D activities.Assist in project management for ongoing and future robotics projects, with a primary focus on preparing technical documents.Write and edit scientific content for new project proposals.Act as a liaison with administrative offices.Assist in organizing project meetings, workshops, and related events.Support the PI in overseeing the overall working plan of the projects, monitoring deliverables, milestones, and the implementation of Work Package objectives.Collect, review, and submit technical and scientific reports.Supervise and manage communication and dissemination activities, as well as the exploitation plan and related tasks.Assist in drafting data management plans and oversee the implementation of related activities.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTSA Master's degree in Engineering (preferably Biomedical or Mechanical).A Ph.D. in the field of biorobotics, with scientific experience relevant to bioinspired soft robotics.Experience in scientific management of research projects.Strong organizational and management skills.Excellent communication skills, with the ability and willingness to integrate into a multidisciplinary international research group.Experience in organizing scientific events for dissemination, communication, and training.Knowledge of relevant funding schemes, scientific communities, and societies.Excellent command of spoken and written EnglishADDITIONAL SKILLSExcellent problem-solving mindset.High motivation and eagerness to learn.Strong spirit of innovation and creativity.Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Ability to thrive in a challenging and international environment.Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary and multicultural setting.COMPENSATION & BENEFITSCompetitive salary package for international standardsWide range of staff discountsFlexible working timeWHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?An equal, inclusive and multicultural environment ready to welcome you with open arms.We like contamination and encourage you to mingle and discover what other people are up to in our labs!If paperwork is not your piece of cake, we got you!
