Job type: FTCLocation: Pharma ItalyOverviewSAP Technical Architect: We need someone who has both the technical understanding of the SAP architecture and also an enterprise wide view of all the required areas to be addressed for a complex SAP program.ResponsibilitiesDefine, Design and Deliver SAP Architectural designsDefine, Design and Drive the list of contracted (with SI) and must have documentation required for each phase and map to best practices from SAPDevelop overall solutions including high-level design (e.g.-Whiteboarding), statements of work (SOW), service design and bills of materials (BOM).Contributes to service delivery and engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.Analyze & gather business requirements from large & complex client environments and perform required research and investigation to identify and create thorough, accurate technical solution proposals based on client requirements.Overall coordination of all the assessment sub-streams (business process stream, technical architecture stream, change management stream, governance stream, SW vendor assessment, and negotiation stream)Manage and coordinate project team activities and deliverablesManage assessment plan, monitoring progress and reporting risks vs milestonesCoordinate preparation and execution of planned workshopsCoordinate vendors at a detailed levelAbility in project coordination and strong support in presentation preparation at various stakeholder levelsManage issue list and escalate to leadership if necessaryQualifications / ExperienceTotal Exp – 15+ yearsExperience in architecting complex ERP projects in big consumer companiesComplete understanding of the SAP ACTIVATE methodology with deliverables and best practicesUnderstanding of all ERP project phases and the required deliverablesArchitectural understanding of SAP and ecosystemTOGAF Preferable or Equivalent Certification is preferableSDM experience is a plus but not mustSAP cloud deployments and migrationsSAP architecture designSignificant hands-on SAP experience in on premise and cloud solutions architectureAbility to independently conduct meetings with engineering-level, management-level or executive level customer personnel with regards to positioning solutionsGood understanding of most of the SAP modules, integration options (PI/PO), BTP, CPIStrong technical understanding of SAP, e.g. ABAP, Fiori and business processesOther RequirementsFluent in English; Italian is a plusAvailability to travel at least once per month, for 2 or 3 days, to the customer headquarters (Parma, Italy)Should have no limitations to work in Europe as per project requirements
