We are looking for a Plant Buyer to join the Italy Purchasing Team based in Quattordio.Working as buyer, reporting to the Italy Purchasing Manager.You Will Have The Following ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day activities necessary to purchase goods, materials, supplies, and services that meet the organization’s standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.Enter requests and orders into the SAP system for managerial approval and releaseSupport the analysis of supplier proposals or quotations with terms that are in the organization’s best interestCommunicate with vendors to resolve problems with the timeliness or quality of supplies.You will collect purchasing related data and provide management with operational reportingPlanning and purchasingYou have worked in a factory before in a similar roleYou have a technical backgroundKnowledge of specific tools as SAP and excelFluent in Italian; English will be considered as a plusYou have great analytical and decision making skillsYou are willing to challenge yourselfTeam work is something that you enjoyPrysmian , as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
