Responsible for technical support, selling, and marketing activities in the designated area, coordinating with the distributor’s technical and sales force. The Dairy Sales Manager's main responsibility is to grow, develop, and implement account strategies to achieve sales growth and profitability within the Italy Dairy and Small Ruminants sector; occasionally supporting strategic activities in other species such as swine or poultry.This is a full-time position reporting to the Country Manager, with no supervisory responsibilities. The role is home-based.Lead a coordinated strategic approach and local activities in dairy/ruminants with support from Marketing and Research & Nutritional Services.Lead field trials projects within distributor and customer networks.Grow sales through enhanced customer relationships and technical knowledge of products in the supported industry.Increase Zinpro’s footprint and visibility in Italy by identifying dairy commercial and technical events.Achieve sales goals and objectives within the established budget and targets.Promote Zinpro products and provide technical sales support to current and potential customers and key influencers to develop strong, long-term relationships.Support and enhance service and support to customers within identified species and priorities.Identify new product and market opportunities.Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, or related fields.Experience managing a network of customers and supporting their needs.Experience in technical sales and marketing within animal nutrition and production industries.Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Understanding of mid-sized company culture and dairy farm management.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, feed formulation programs (e.g., NDS), and internet research.Fluent in English; reading, writing, and speaking.MSc or Veterinary degree in Animal Nutrition preferred.Ability to communicate fluently in English and Italian.The work environment includes offices, farms, animal producers, manufacturing facilities, and client sites.Position involves typing, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.Sedentary work: Occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds of force to move objects or oneself. The role requires working during core hours, with participation in after-hours, weekend calls, customer events, and industry functions.Travel Requirements:Expected to travel within Italy and occasionally internationally, approximately 50% or more of work time, mainly locally.Must possess qualities and skills aligned with Zinpro’s Core Values, emphasizing diversity, service, kindness, respect, quality, learning, and continuous improvement.
